Alphess Silent padded behind Kayla as she approached the lake. Tapping a large paw on the thin ice, it cracked, showing fish swimming wildly around. Dipping her paw in, she waited patiently for a fish. When a curious animal came to look, she flicked it out of the water and caught the fish in her mouth, killing it. Silent stepped back for Kayla to catch one.

"Wow, good job." Kayla replied happily.Kayla stuck her paw in the water and waited patiently for fish to come. After a few unsucessful tries, Kayla finally caught herself a fish. "Wow, That was harder than I had thought." Kayla replied before sticking her nose in the air to check for any smell of prey or anything else. Kayla when to lie down a few inches away from the stream. Waiting for her paw to get warmer before sticking it back in the water again.

Silent Watched as Kayla happily fished in the pond. Laying down, she waited for her to catch herself another fish. When Kayla came back with a fish flopping around in her mouth, Silent arose. She padded into the deeper woods, signaling for Kayla to follow her.

Kayla obediantly followed her leader. Once Kayla has caught up to Alphess Silent, she spoke,"Where are we off to now?"

--"Boar hunting" Silent said quietly as she dropped into a crouch. She flicked her tail to silence her warrior, gluing Kayla to the spot with one simple command. As she hopped over the bush, all that was heard was a desperate squeal. The gorgeous she-dog drug the young boar behind the bush. It still had its white speckled spots, and so it was obvious a mother was going to be coming back soon. "Get the other one before the parents return" Silent growled urgently, then knitted her brows. "Hurry up Kayla!" She could now scent them, and dropped into a protective stance. A desperate mother came barreling toward her. Sidestepping, she managed to dodge the boar, except for a scrape on her hind leg. Yelping, she let a furious snarl rip clear of her throat. Pelt bristling, she lunged at the boar. Landing an inch from its face, she jumped to the side and dug her canines deep into the boar's hard skin. Ripping back, the boar squealed and ran off, leaving a trail of crimson liquid behind. Silent collapsed, exhausted. Licking her open wound, she saw Kayla dragging the last young boar from the clearing. "Lets go..." She panted, grabbing the boar and padding away from the trail of crimson.

Taking the other young boar with her, Kayla followed Alphess Silent. Kayla watched every step her leader took to make sure she would not do anything to hurt herself even more. Only occasionally did Kayla trip over her paws or the boar, being clumsy.

--Silent's leg suddenly gave way, and her sights went black. This didn't happen from pain, it happened from loss of blood...
--Eyes opening, the world was blurry and cold. She was covered in crimson, as when Kayla had left to fetch the healer, the father returned and followed the blood trail. There Silent lay, in a world of blackness and deafness, and the boar's lifeless children beside her. The boar had nearly beaten the life out of her, but... She was somewhere unfamiliar... Somewhere.. Her heart sank, her breathe caught in her throat, silent cries of protest were uttered, and then... She stood. Aching and hurting, she stood. She was suddenly face to face with Wynn. As the realization of them being on the border hit her, she let a weak growl break the silence. She was lacking blood and needed a healer, but pushed the thoughts aside.

OOC- Would you still like Kayla to be in the thread? Or Kayla could just bring the healer, then leave and go back to camp.

OOC- Okie dokie! IC- Kayla had come back to where she had left Alphess Silent, but she wasn't there. Kayla put her nose in the air to see if she could smell her leader, but it was no use. She smelled Alphess Silent but it was an old scent. Kayla then began to smell around the area. No luck there either. All the scents she had found were old. Kayla ran off back to camp to see if her leader was already there. If not, she would check the rest of the territory.

It was a death sentence. Well it seemed like it would be a death sentence to him. Ever since that day where the packs were split in four, Wynn's heart began to ache. He liked Silent; she was beautiful, charismatic and mysterious at the same time, but there wasn't much he could do now. Being leader was a full time job; he hardly had any time for himself these days. But today, he decided to change things. He wanted to see her again, find out how her pack was growing; talk to her.
The stream was appearing closer every nervous step he took. Then finally, he reached it, deep brown eyes watching the rippling stream move along its path. It was a very small stream, no larger than a dog tail, but it provided Ash Pack with a reliable source of water; well in Leaf-bare. Nose twitching he bends his neck slowly towards the water, eyes glancing around the clearing, before lapping up the cold water. He licked his chops, getting rid of grit and dirt stuck to his black and pink gums before continuing on. Just wander into camp and hope to be allowed in? He paused to think, pondering ways to get into the camp. Or do I just forget my stupid idea and go home?!
The last idea was the least of his worries. A strong scent blew on the breeze. It was a female, and fear scent swelled in the air. Someone was running around, sniffing through the territory and searching. But for what? Wynn ran after the scent but soon lost trail of it. He growled to himself, a frown creasing his forehead. Maybe they're being attacked?
A rustle in the bushes caught his attention. He whipped around, growling, hackles raised; except almost instantaneously did he stop growling and soften his expression. Excitement, which disappeared like a giant storm into fear. Alpha Silent was hurt! There was blood in the air, a dead boar by her side.
"What's going on!" He growled, out of fear. Something had attacked her while she was hunting; but what? Fear of the humans came back into his mind. What if they had come back, to take the dogs from their established home? All of their work and effort gone to waste. No! He wouldn't allow anyone to hurt dear Silent.
He rushed up towards her, examining her wounds. It looked like the bleeding had stopped, but he was no Healer.
"Come to my Territory, I can help you," he growled, frantically looking around to find the attacker.

--Silent watched Wynn. It looked like he was looking for something... But what?? Attempting to spin around, she yelped and fell to the ground. She barely noticed Wynn was talking as she tried to get up, and failed. Yelping again, this time not in pain but defeat, she soon realized her mistake. Wynn was on her territory, but then again he was an old friend... What would she do? She let a snarl ripple deep in her chest. Her back twitched where her fur should rise, but the crimson liquid acted as a glue, holding the black fur to her spine. One moment she had been hunting with Kayla, the next... Blackness. The last thing she felt was the boar's short tusks digging at her ribs. Slowly getting to her feet, she kept up constant, soft yelps of pain and agony. She couldn't walk back to camp like this, she knew that.

Over here near the mountains the clouds were forming together more quickly than near the beach. He wondered if his pack was okay and if a storm was coming.
Silent was extremely hurt, and bleeding a lot. Fear pulsed through his heart. She was trying to seem strong, but she could barely stand! Wynn lay down, motioning with his eyes that she should probably as well. "Y-you're going to be all right," he more convinced himself. "Stay here, I won't leave you." What was this? He was getting all emotional? The fear of bleeding to death did occur. If he ran to get the healer, it would be too late possibly. Maybe he could clean the sound himself, and stop the bleeding with his body?
( Omg got a plot idea. -posts it!<33- )

--Silent watched as Wynn mumbled to himself, curious, she nudged him with her nose. The gorgeous female looked at him with blue, icy eyes. Her expression turned from warm, to scared in less than half a second as a yelp escaped her mouth. The boar was coming back. Dropping into a fighting stance, she braced herself for the next possibly fatal blow. She was being light-headed, naive, and stupid, but didn't think about anything before taking a step and falling over. She once again tried to get up, only to be thrown several feet into a bush. She was getting tired of this. If she wasn't so weak, she would be laughing and taunting the boar as she poked her head out of the bush.
