Wynn looked into her icy eyes and smiled, but something behind him was getting her scared. Wynn got up and whipped around as a boar had hit Silent into a bush. A ferocious snarl escaped his throat as he leaped at the boar. With his salivating mouth, and large teeth he nipped at the boar's back, causing fear to pulse through its body. He would not let anyone hurt her; no one. Another snarl came as he charged after the fleeing boar, before he studded to a stop, dust trailing behind him. He turned around and coughed through the dust, trailing back towards Silent. Without thinking he launched himself at her side, and attempted to clamp his teeth around her neck and try to pull her out of the bushes, to a more open clearing. His warm eyes returned and he tried to clean her wounds, if she would allow him to. This day was getting even more adventurous from the start!

--Silent yelped when the rottweiler's massive jaws came for her neck, only to gentle pull her from the bushes. Trying for a smile, she licked his cheek, laying down and closing her eyes. Her new wound was bleeding, and if she fell asleep, she may never awake...

Wynn noticed that she may have bumped her head; and if concussion occurred then that was definitely a problem!
"Try to stay awake," He huffed.
The new wound was bleeding badly so he pulled himself close to her, helping the blood-flow slow down. He licked the other wounds gently, but quickly as well, to stop the bleeding. The two piglets were still dead and near them, so he dragged one over with his paw, to bring in front of her.
"Can you eat? It might make you stronger," he barked, attention fully on her and not on his surroundings at all. If that boar came back though; now that would be a death sentence.

--Sighing, she gulped down a bite of the boar, secretly wishing the mother and father were here to see their children being eaten. She knew she should thank Moon Pack for their lives, but she wasn't in a real thankful mood. She had no idea what to do now, so she began senselessly grooming Wynn's shoulder.

Wynn started to groom her neck now. From afar it would look like they were mates, going about a daily affectionate time. But they were far from that, and Wynn hoped that his feelings for her would slow down a little and take a few doggy steps back in reverse. He was a leader, she was a leader; they were of two different packs. He knew the consequences, but sometimes, you just have to do a few things for yourself.
"You're beautiful, you know that." He gruffed, tail wagging and sweeping across the snow terrain. A shiver sliced through his muscles as a cold wind blew in their direction. If a storm happened, she would be in grave danger. She might get frostbite; and Wynn would never live the day, if she died in his paws. "Come on let's try and get somewhere warmer. Maybe I can make a den somewhere..." he trailed off; what was he doing? He sighed, but continued to try and look calm. Wynn attempted to nose her up on four legs, so then he could try and make a small den. Usually the dens he made was of metal, but around here, there was only ash and dirt and snow. Not much help at all. All he could do was hope he could make a den close enough for her strength level.

--Silent half closed her eyes in contentment. He was suddenly nudging her to her feet, and her eye flew open. Watching him, she couldn't go anywhere, and she didn't was him to go either. She whined and pawed at him. Thinking for a minute, she barked with joy, hurting her ribs. "Follow me" She said hoarsely, wagging her tail as she put foot after foot in the snow. Finally reaching an abandoned badger's den, she padded in, smiling when she found a nest. By now she was aching, and so she collapsed on the soft bed of straw.

Wynn helped her move by allowing her to lean against his pelt. He liked being in control and helping her her, it made him feel useful; although he didn't know how to heal her.
She collapsed in the den, so he came and lay next to her. The winters bite was becoming stronger, so they had to share heat otherwise either one of them could die. Shivering, he turned his back towards the entrance, so as to not allow wind hit Silent directly.
"Do you need anything? Food, water?" He asked, clearly nervous about her health. Luckily the blood seemed to have stopped. Now she had to rest and keep her strength up.

--Silent whimpered as the cold, blistering wind ruffled her pelt. She felt light headed and weak, not being able to find her voice for a moment after his question. "I-I think I should j-just goto s-s-sleep" She shivered, closing her eyes. She soon slipped into a long, eventful sleep... --Wynn stood several lengths from her, and as she took steps toward him, he stepped back. In reality, she was kicking and whining softly, while Wynn still walked away in her dreams. Suddenly stopping, he stopped. "But Wynn, I love you!" She barked at him. This could've been the best-or worst- mistake of her life, for she had murmured the same words while she lay restlessly with Wynn watching over her.

Wynn nodded slowly, licking in between her ears before she fell asleep. The wind bustled and hustled outside, sounding like the howls of mournful dead souls.
Wynn shivered while she slept. He could not sleep, and allow them to be threatened unexpectedly. He had to stay awake. The storm started to become more violent. The wind was harsher and snow flakes drifted into the cave, making them land on his pelt, little sparkles forming. He shoved himself closer to Silent, hoping she didn't freeze.
"Silent are you okay!" He called, fear in his eyes. She was thrashing around in her sleep. But her words that he just barely caught, shocked him.
She loves me? he thought to himself, starring at the cave wall, a frown on his face. It sure didn't seem like she did. She was growling and taking action all the time outside, but once they got into the cave, all seemed to change. With his nose he pushed her head, trying to nudge her awake. I love you too, he smiled, but said in his head.

-- Silent drowsily opened her bronze eyes. Wynn lay above her with a warm smile on his face. She pushed her head up and licked him on the nose, eyes half closed in contentment. Her dream was still in her head, and she now knew her words in the dream were true. Eyes stuck on him, her hoarse, weak voice murmured "I love you, Wynn, I always have..." He did not looked depressed, maybe shocked, but not depressed. She tilted her head slightly, and rolled over onto her stomach, scrutinizing his face.

A soft smile lit up his face at what she had muttered. He loved her too, deeply. But he wondered if she loved him because he helped her? Or if she loved him before the great journey? He probably would never know, but at least the truth was out.
"I love you too," He replied softly, licking her muzzle and wagging his tail excitedly. His eyes closed for a moment before opening again, love in his eyes. "Are you strong now? After your rest?" He asked, hoping she was getting better. He would love it if she would bear his pups. Right now he wasn't thinking through the consequences; nor was he looking out for danger. It was just him and his love, inside a little cave, huddling from the harsh winds.

-- Time skip between mating which was done somewhere else. xDD-- Wynn lay next to her, lying on his stomach. Suddenly his stomach growled very loudly, he would have blushed if he could. "Oh.. um.. I think I should go get the baby boar out there before it;s all frosted." He chuckled, rising to his paws. He stretched when he padded outside, realizing how cold it was. The little boar was out of site, he could only rely on his nose to find it. When finally he found it, he had to dig under a small layer of snow before picking it up. It was nearly stone cold, and didn't look all that appetizing so he dropped it outside the den, growling at the fact there was no food good enough to eat.

-- Silent smiled weakly and tried to stand. Almost falling over, she managed to maintain her balance and pad groggily out of the den to stand beside Wynn. "Follow me" she chuckled, amused at his anger. They were in Ash Pack territory and Silent knew it the best. She soon led him to the pond where a light layer of snow hid some ice. She stopped suddenly at the waters edge, clearing snow from it. Beneath, fish swam with the least of worries. Tapping the ice, it cracked. Here was a worry. Dipping a paw in, she waiting and flicked a fish from the water, catching the wriggling animal in her jaws. "And here you have it, a fair sized meal." She barked with pride, before laying in the snow and waiting for Wynn to join her.

Wynn watched her tackle the fish and bring it to the bank. She seemed to so perfect at it. There wasn't any ponds at the beach. Their only source of prey was in the little forest; unless they decided to eat crabs.
He saw the slimy creature flipping on the bank before she killed it, but he shook his head. He couldn't accept food from her territory. His scent was already all over her. They'd suspect something. "No, sorry, you eat it." He barked slowly, wagging his tail. "I should head back. My pack will be worried and I don't want to think of some lying story." He added scornfully, nosing the fish towards her.

--Silent arose with a whine, sunlight glinting off of her charcoal pelt. "B-but, I want you to stay" She barked, drooping. She knew he couldn't, for they were leaders of different packs, and so she picked up the fish, looked back with one last whine, and headed back to camp.
