Pack: Ash Pack
Name: Nuntis
Position: Warrior
Age: Nine years and two seasons.
Gender: Male
Appearance:
To be such a violent and anxious wolf, Nuntis has to have some strength to back it up. His body is long and slender although the muscle he had packed underneath isn't enough to completely scare others off just by his looks. His legs are long for his body, arching away awkwardly from his thick muscle. His pelt is a dark and silky black with tan markings, giving him more of an appearance towards a Hound than the un-cropped Doberman that he really is. His muzzle is lighter than the rest of his body, closer to pitch black than the rest of him would be. His fur is usually ruffled from some other encounter that made him angry while his ears are always perched forward, searching for the next sound on the edges of the borders he patrols.
Personality:
Nuntis isn't a patient wolf. He likes things to be done quickly and efficiently without a long wait. He's always hurrying to his next location to be sure no one has dared to invade. Along with that natural anxiety comes Nuntis' general anger towards everything. He rushes into things very easily because of his temper and often makes rash decisions that he would regret later. You may think that he would learn, but he's only just now beginning to try to change himself. With age comes the realization that he is acting like an irrational and uncontrollable pup. And because of his desire to change, he's become moody and volatile lately, unsure as to whether he should continue being his angry self or try and calm down and be more witty and quiet like older wolves he's met.
History:
Honi and Segolia Flashback weren't famous. They weren't dogs well-known for anything although his father was somehow related to one of the previous pack leaders. They stayed away from all the hub-bub that went along with the packs and attempted to raise their two children alone. They had one male, Nuntis, and Saya was the second oldest. The two pups were sickly although Nuntis was born during the spring while his sister was in the more dangerous winter. Their parents stole little food from each of the packs to attempt at an easy life where they wouldn't have to work as much. During the splitting of the packs, however, their secrets were revealed as if they had been stealing purposefully for the enemy and the two were thrust into battles as punishment. Of course, without any experience, the two perished, leaving the family now made into four with the sudden birth of twins, Riva and Tana. After their parents' deaths, Nuntis put himself in charge of taking care of the girls. Unfortunately, Saya thought differently, took the girls with her in the assumption that she could raise them much better than he ever could and he hasn't seen them since. A little time went by and he hesitantly approached the Ash Pack with the hope that he could find support and protection underneath leadership as well as serve them in anyway possible.
He was accepted into the pack without much trouble and now spends his time patrolling the boarders for possible threats to the pack.
RolePlay Sample
As he made his way along the steady tangle of trees and bushes, he encountered a few elderly wolves on his way up there. He paused and looked at one of the older ones who was sitting in the shade, eyes closed while the sun beat through the gaps of the trees on her dark body.
"So far, you are little better than our previous alpha." The she-wolf said as she lay there, facing forward. Nuntis stood there for a moment, watching the fae. "Well, let us hope that I will make some changes to make life easier on us. First, I'm going to set up a sort of heirarchy. We need daily hunts."
The female cracked open her eerily blue eyes that seemed to stare right through him. "Dail hunts? And just who do you think in this pack is responsible enough to do things like that? The wolves here would kill and take the food for themselves." She said, bowing her head slightly.
Nuntis looked at her, crooking his maw to the side. "Hopefully not everyone in this pack is a selfish brute who can't control his temper. I didn't give that impression, did I ma'am?" He asked, still able to remember the manners he learned from the last pack he had been in.
"No, you seemed more of a confident wolf who knew what he wanted and simply took it." She replied, turning her head to the side and closing her eyes to accept the breeze rocking through the trees. "Perhaps I have overlooked some. There may be some who are willing. Good luck finding them, sir."
Nuntis bowed his head with respect towards the female and continued on his way, now loaded down with questions. He opened his maw and yawned widely, his pink tongue lolling out for a moment before continuing towards the ominous rock formations.
His eyes landed on a female wolf as she stood near the peak of the formations, her fur a fascinating color. He looked down at his large paws and tested them on the loose rocks in front of him, cautious as to whether or not he would be able to get up to where she was in one piece.
Deciding to take the chance, Nuntis began the unsteady climb to where the female was, not physically exhausted but his large frame caused minor slips that sent his heart racing and caused small panic attacks as he continued his trek to reach the female.
When he had finally stopped next to her, he leaned his head down and wheezed a few times, trying to catch his breath. He turned his eyes up to look at her body and blinked a few times. "I hope your personality was worth that treacherous climb."
